－路加福音17:3-4 Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day and turns again to you seven times, saying, I repent, you shall forgive him. (Luke 17：3-4)
所以你們既是神的選民，聖別蒙愛的人，就要穿上憐恤的心腸、恩慈、卑微、溫柔、恆忍。倘若這人與那人有嫌隙，總要彼此容忍，彼此饒恕；主怎樣饒恕了你們，你們也要怎樣饒恕人。在這一切之上，還要穿上愛，愛是全德的聯索。
