願頌讚歸與我們主耶穌基督的父神！他在基督裡曾賜給我們天上各樣屬靈的福氣：就如神從創立世界以前，在基督裡揀選了我們，使我們在他面前成為聖潔，無有瑕疵； 又因愛我們，就按著自己意旨所喜悅的，預定我們藉著耶穌基督得兒子的名分，使他榮耀的恩典得著稱讚；這恩典是他在愛子裡所賜給我們的。 (Ephesians以弗所書1:3-6)

Ephesians1:3-6
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will–to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. ほむべきかな、わたしたちの主イエス・キリストの父なる神。神はキリストにあって、天上で霊のもろもろの祝福をもって、わたしたちを祝福し、みまえにきよく傷のない者となるようにと、天地の造られる前から、キリストにあってわたしたちを選び、わたしたちに、イエス・キリストによって神の子たる身分を授けるようにと、御旨のよしとするところに従い、愛のうちにあらかじめ定めて下さったのである。これは、その愛する御子によって賜わった栄光ある恵みを、わたしたちがほめたたえるためである。 (Ephesians以弗所書1:3-6)
