從前在百姓中有假先知起來，將來在你們中間也必有假師傅，私自引進陷害人的異端，連買他們的主他們也不承認，自取速速地滅亡。將有許多人隨從他們邪淫的行為，便叫真道因他們的緣故被毀謗。他們因有貪心，要用捏造的言語在你們身上取利。他們的刑罰，自古以來並不遲延；他們的滅亡也必速速來到（原文是不打盹）。 (彼得後書2 Peter 2:1-3)

But there were also falseprophets among the people, just as there will befalse teachers among you. They will secretlyintroduce destructive heresies, even denying thesovereign Lord who bought them–bringing swiftdestruction on themselves. Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping. (彼得後書2 Peter 2:1-3)
